So I have my first big wedding...by big I mean 400+ people attending.

Just wanted to run a few thoughts past the experts.

2 cameras (Sony HVR-V1U and Z1U (renting the z1...no V1's available)

Audio questions
I have a Seinheisser G2 laviler for the groom
a Rode NTG-1 for the other camera for

Should I take a feed out of the soundboard and run it into the 2nd channel on one of the cameras?
Should I run a feed out into my Presonus Firepod and into Soundtrack Pro on my MacBook Pro?
Or should I do all 3?
I do not have an iriver or anything like that to record

The soundboard is a good one so that shouldn't be a problem, the only problem I can see is that the Groom is singing.

Any thoughts or comments, thanks in advance!

You can never get too much audio! Pull it from wherever you can get it, you'll like the quality from the wired inputs moreso than the rode on the cam, for sure. But it's always nice to have that ambient pickup of the sound; sometimes I let that run at about -18db on the timline just to give it some depth.

But still - the more audio inputs the better.
