I know I should always use a track rather than a zoom, but sometimes, when space is at a premium or whatever, a disguised zoom is the only option. I only wish I could control the zoom's speed and make i a slow one sometimes, like you can with a lanc controller on a Sony. The JVC remote is just this side of useless for this as far as I can see.

Any suggestions anyone?
