Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks to keep the viewfinder from fogging. Most of the time this is not a problem, but if I'm really huffing it operating (I do mostly documentary, so hours of handheld), or go from cold outdoors to hot indoors, the viewfinder will sometimes fog. I'm not using a chamois, so I thought that might help. What about using a chemical defogger? The kind one might apply to ski goggles? Curious to hear if there are any tricks out there.

Thanks!

Peter

You've never want to put any chemicals anywhere on your camera - with exception to the UV filter when it gets dirty. Keep a small micro-fiber in your shirt/pants pocket and use that.

Peter, I had this problem (and others) until I bought an i-Cuff. This deserves best budget video product of the decade in my opinion.

i-Cuff Pro for HVX200 is $45, well worth it.

Kinda gross, but anyone ever use spit to defog scuba/snorkeling gear?
