My daughter made herself a cheese sandwich last night, and she dropped some of the cheese on the floor. This cheeky little thing did the cleaning up!
Saves me a job. Nothing special, thought I'd share. I'm quite pleased how close I managed to get. It's a bit grainy (vx2100) but it's ok.
By the way, can anyone guess the film playing in the background by the audio?

Hi Russ,
Nice One!
He really is a cheeky chappy - nice DOF, and you must have been pretty close with the VX2100 and its 12x (glad you got it repaired ok).
Lost on the background film though.
cheers

The depth of field is really tight, nice job.
the voices reminds me of Syriana (spelling) the conversation when they are talking about giving their field agent a position somewhere.

Thanks for the comments, I was quite close, he seemed a tame little thing, about 3 feet away I think.
Pete, got a new camera, paid by my insurers, they couldn't repair my old one at all, completely smashed.
Nope on the film Dale. It's gone on for a while now (I actually forgot I posted, lol) The film was The 9th Gate. Johnny Depp and Lena Olin were the voices although it's been that long I can't remember the scene!

Great little clip Russ. And a little birdie told me that mice didn't really eat cheese, that was just in cartoons!
I presume you had the VX2100 replaced with another one, rather than a different model of camera? One thing I miss about my VX2100 is the nice depth of field from the 1/3" CCDs. The 1/4" CMOS on the V1E isn't quite as sweet.

Hi Mike,
Yeah, someone also told me they don't eat cheese, and a apparently quite partial to chocolate. The same mouse I caught a couple of days later snuffling about in a carrier bag eating a piece of Aero Bubble that my daughter had left.
I got a new vx2100, yes. Although I am tempted to sell it and upgrade to an FX7 something deep down is telling me not to. The images are really sweet from it, you are right.
