I'm searching for a way to use a 35mm adapter with the Sony EX1... i need it for the next 2 weeks. The letus35 take 4 weeks to receive and its too long...
Do you know any other 35mm adapter working with the EX1 ? I own the Redrock M2... do you know a different achromat that i can use with the M2 and the EX1 ?
thanks...

Movietube make one for the EX1. It looks like a good, simple set up in the photo I saw of it.

You can use the MicroX from Redrock which uses it's own achromat giving you much better results than the current HD achromat.
It also reverses the image so you don't have to 'flip' in post.

The Letus extreme works currently with an achromat designed specifically for the Ex-1. The SG Pro may have solved that problem already and the Brevis is supposed to have a solution due in a month.
I don't know about the movietube or redrock.
I would be careful buying any other adapter before specifically checking that they have a solution to the EX-1 lens because it does not work well with achromats designed for other 1/3" cameras. The Ex-1 lens presents a lot of difficulties.

Don't buy the MicroX from Redrock. They are currently advising people NOT to buy that setup yet.
This is from Redrock's forum:
-----
The microX is not currently recommended. The version that we release for Sony HD cameras will improve edge to edge sharpness much like the microX does for any camera, since it increases the focal distance between the camera and the lens.
So in short:
You would be quite happy with an M2 on an EX1.
You definitely would not be happy with an M2/microX on an EX1.
You will be VERY happy with an M2/microX v2 on your EX1.
Cheers!

Hi James,
Don't mean to be rude but I believe the current version of the MicroX is NOT recommended for use with the EX1 (or even Z1/FX1) - although folks at Redrock have made it known that they will be releasing a special version that caters for the nuances of these particular Sony cams in the (near?) future.

I'm eagerly awaiting confirmed news on this before I order my EX1, but I'm also keeping an eye out for Letus' 'relay' lens solution which could well make the EX3 pretty irresistible.
Cheers,
Dave.
Edit: Darn, Ben beat me to it.. ;)
