Hello there all,

i have a JVC HD201 and i am useing at the football games, i would like to know how i can get or what i need to get more zoom.

rob.

PS nothing to expensive most of the footage is just going to the big screen.

ok then is there a doubler that will fit in between the camera and lans

There is the Century 1.6x tele-converter:

If you are using the standard lens on the JVC camera you will need a filter or ring in the end to stiffen the lens. Century makes one for this purpose with no glass in it (but it's kind of expensive, I beleive, at around $80). Or you can use a clear filter.

If you would like more information about the performance of this converter for your uses, I suggest calling (or emailing) the Van Nuys Century office. They have always been very helpful to me. Ryan from there also posts here sometimes, so he may see this.

This would work as well but it causes a 2 f-stops of light loss. The advantage is that it is lighter.

Thanks for that guys, Now the big question, will it fit fine on my HD 201 Camera, and is any one out there that has used it or own one.
