Hey guys,
Just wondering, i see all these diy solutions coming out, and i was wondering about where to buy the components like the screen, and the input boards, etc?

Are you completely deranged?

You couldn't build one for twice the price of an off the shelf, if that.

Go buy the best, cheapest, off the shelf you consider adequate and forget the DIY, it doesn't work with this sort of stuff.

It IS possible and sometimes even cheaper than off the shelf solutions:

Take a look at this one... 10,2", 1280x768 and HDMI in for $350. All you need is a case.

If you get one, let us know how it goes. I wonder if these are scavenged parts from scrapped PC's

Just wondering...
