Hi,
Can anyone know how to store metadata (data about when clip was taken, what is on it, maybe where) just like one can store metadata in JPEGs with EXIF.
Specificaly: I have a SD9 camcorder that produces M2TS files that include an H.264 video stream and a Dolby Digital (AC3) audio stream. I would not like to convert the streams - my wish is to move them as they are into another container and add metadata. But according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_container_formats AVI does not support such streams and only Matroska would. But how much practical possibilities would Matroska give me? Would it be possible to store files in Picasa as I do for the rest of my pictures and clips?
If there is no answer today - is there a standard that intend to support this in the future?
Thanks,
Gordan
