I am looking at the HPX-500 and an FS-100.

Over the years I heard mixed things about the Firestore products and reliabilty.

So I would like to ask people who have used the units if they trust them to use as a sole recording device?

This is a more affordble and useful option to the P2 cards, but it is only worth it to me if it can stand alone and be trusted.
