We're likely going to use a Redrock Micro and lenses for our EX1. Does the camera flip the image so it records and monitors right-side up?
Thanks,

View Full Version : Does the EX1 flip the image upside down if using lens adaptor? Heath McKnight April 22nd, 2008, 09:44 PM We're likely going to use a Redrock Micro and lenses for our EX1. Does the camera flip the image so it records and monitors right-side up? Thanks, Heath George Kroonder April 23rd, 2008, 12:44 AM Nope. Flip in post or use a 'flip' module/adapter. George/ Michael Maier April 23rd, 2008, 03:41 AM With most adapters having a flip option now this fucntion kind of lost its sense really. Pietro Impagliazzo April 23rd, 2008, 04:44 AM It's really a shame that adapter companies need to develop physical ways to flip the image (resulting in increased light loss and cumbersome units) while big companies don't even make a simple firmware modification allowing an image flip. Not much logic in that.
