Hi,
I´m using the latest version of Vegas Pro 8.0
Lately I installed a trial version of Neo HDV. I wanted to see if the performance under that version changes something in my Vegas System.
To my surprise the speed of the intermediate files I rendered out from original HDV material (Canon XH A1) was pretty slow, I only reached about 10 fps instead of 25 fps. Nothing changed although I switched from "Best" to "Preview Mode".
Then I uninstalled NEO HDV an put the cfh.dll (Version 2.8) back in place ( I have read in older threads that sometimes Vegas makes problems when trying to install the latest Cineform software, so I saved it... --> windows/system32 an in the Vegas directory. But: Nothing happened. The old cineform codec 2.8 was back, but the files I rendered afterwards with the "old" cineform codec were as slow as before.
Does anyone has a clue what´s wrong with my system?
