for some reason my end search button has stopped working.

i have it set to button 3 but for some reason it wont end search anymore?

maybe its a time code issue but have tried it on a couple of tapes and cant et it to work?

its probably me being stupid again but any help appreciated.

afaik, end search only works when you're shooting. ie, press record, stop, turn cam off. turn cam on 'end search' will bring tape to end of last shot. it does not work in vtr mode!

...and it doesn't work at all if you remove and reinsert the tape...

yea that it i tihnk. wont work if you have removed the tape at all.

quite odd and annoying.
