I'm very close to pulling the trigger and purchasing the EX1 for a job this summer. I was just curious if anyone knows of a site/link that may have sample files to download, as they would appear on the SxS card, so I can give it to my editor for a workflow test?
Cheers!

Vortex media sells an inexpensive SxS simulation disc with 48 unedited clips from all recording modes available in the EX1.
Not sure if I am allowed to post the link, but you can google the name of the company.

I think it is a very good idea to create something like that. The DVD is an excellent resource for those looking to buy the camera but unsure about the workflow in their respective NLE's.

Had a great result with my Edius 4.6 Broadcast Software - the Vortex disc acts like an S X S card - you can bring up the files within Clip Browser within the editing software and edit from there or copy the BPAV folder to the hard drive and do the same thing. Great way to get a feel for the workflow. Even made a couple of test blu-rays which worked fine (rendered out of Edius with Procoder 3).
