Simple light test with some cheapo work lights with daylight-balanced flo tubes (couldn't afford Kino flos so made my own). Flicker free and dirt cheap. I gravitating towards daylight balanced lights now because of the number of times I run across mixed lighting...

I also used a pro light with a snoot for hair light in these shots. No sound.

Did you use your 35mm adapter on this? I ask because the image is extremely sharp.

Hallo Steven

I like the eye light did you use a special lamp for it ?

No, the flos provided the eyelight. This set up is just a key and back light.

Fantastic! Did you tweek the camera settings to adjust color and contrast at all?

I have been getting nice results with standard work lights using the GE Reveal bulbs and white packing material cliped to the outside to soften.

No adjustment and I didn't white balance which was probably a mistake. There is a greenish hue on her skin that is a result of flo tubes that are not full spectrum... Wonder if this would have been either lessened or eradicated had I white balanced.....
