I got a wedding video that was PAL and took some scene from it. I put them into the timeline and ran it. It looks good, the audio is perfect. When I render it out with either :

PAL
NTSC
NTSC 24p

The audio goes off and out of sync about 4 seconds into it. When in the timeline, it is fine and plays through perfectly. Any ideas?

Are your project properties set to PAL?

no ideas as to the why.

have you tried rendering separate masters of the audio and video, then importing to a new timeline in a fresh project?

I am going to try that next as separate, thanks for that.
I have set the project properties to pal and NTSC in the process of testing this thing. It runs fine for the first few seconds and then the sync goes off, really badly.
