Connecting a lapel mic to HD100U. I'm using an adapter to connect the receiver to the xlr on camera. Camera has 3 settings for both the input 1 and the input 2 xlr connections ie: line, mic, 48+ (for the on camera mic)
What's the best way to connect...use the "line" or "mic" on the back of the lapel receiver box and connect to "line" setting on the HD100U Input 2 xlr connection or use the "mic" setting on Input 2 settings. The ch-2 input selector switch is set at 2.
Lots of potential noise in the area and thinking of disconnecting the on camera mic totally and only using ch-2 input selector from the lapel transmitter.
