Hi,

Hopefully some of you are still awake to answer this question. I'm leaving in the morning and driving 12 hours for a shoot in Texas in the middle of nowhere. The shoot is a week long.

I just bought the latest MBP because my old one doesn't have an SxS slot. When I insert the SxS card w/ media on it, I see nothing on the desktop.

I have installed XDCAM EX Clip Browser (latest version) and XDCAM transfer (latest version) along w/ Final Cut Studio (latest version).

What do I do to see the folder w/ contents appear on the desktop from the Express Card? I hope it's something stupid I've forgotten to do.

Thanks for helping,

Jac

You have to install the SxS card driver software that comes on disc with the camera. Then the MBP will be able to see the card on your desktop.

Thank you. I was hoping I was a bonehead and forgot to do something basic.

I'll look for the disc. Sorry for the stupid question. My lack of sleep is showing.

Download the newest software from Sony for the newest os support. Works great on my new MAC.
