Looking for some feedback here, we generally shoot weddings but once in a while we get a chance to do something a little more fun. We shot this at a local bar without any additional lighting, full multitrack audio, 5 cams.
We've only had the cameras about a month so it was a new experience.

It played for me - I thought you did a great job - some really nice angles, and close ups at the appropriate time on the musicians. Some nice walk arounds, or however you achieved those. Very professional.

I wondered how big the crowd actually was - you didn't spend much time on it - just the one back shot It hink - wasn't sure if it was because it was a little lean - but a full band like that should have been playing to a decent sized crowd

The crowd was very lean, especially on the dance floor so we tried to avoid it if possible. The other video I posted was actually shot in the same location two weeks later with a much larger crowd so we had more freedom...
everything in there (except drums) was handheld work...

No steadicam or supports, I have a merlin but somehow never find the time to get it out. The 24f really allows you to be purposely sloppy with the cameras and it comes out looking cool instead of crappy, plus the ois is unbelievable with these things...

Looks really good Nathan. Try experimenting with closing the aperture a little to get rid of that vertical smear on the bright stage lights in some of the shots when shooting next time. Yes, it will make video a little darker in those shots, but you can pull that back up with a levels tweak in your NLE.

Thanks Jerome, yeah the lights were a big problem, they fluctuated so violently from one second to the next it was hard to get everybody on the same page exposure wise (plus lead singer's white shirt didn't help)...
The sound was actually more work than the video, we got a direct line from every channel on the main board (16) and ran them into a digital mixer to send them into a macbook. I remixed it in post and was able to fix a few problems.
