View Full Version : Difference? Sennheiser ew100engg2 and ew112pg2? Gary Randall April 10th, 2008, 04:52 PM Hey Guys, I was wondering if someone could tell me what the diffence is between the Sennheiser ew100engg2 wireless mic and the Sennheiser ew112pg2? Is the 112 the newer model? Thanks Gary Dan Keaton April 10th, 2008, 05:05 PM The "ENG" model includes a "Plug-On" or "Butt-Plug" transmitter in addition to the regular transmitter. Thus you get two transmitters, but only one receiver. Unless you purchase a second receiver, you can only use one transmitter at a time. Gary Randall April 10th, 2008, 05:58 PM I know this is a dumb question, but what does the Plug on do? Hsien Yong April 10th, 2008, 06:16 PM The butt plug allows you to connect a dynamic/battery powered mic of your choice. Making any dynamic/battery powered wired mic, wireless.
