Johnnie Caraballo April 8th, 2008, 04:12 PM Has anyone seen or used this product? http://www.flolight.com/miclight.htm Gary Nattrass April 9th, 2008, 04:00 AM I have one and it is fine as a fill light and effective up to about 3-4 feet. Dont buy that though have a look on e-bay and get yourself the same from china for $12. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190208072486 They are exactly the same. Thank you for the heads up! I don't think 3-4 feet is what I was looking for. I might be too close to people at a wedding reception. I hope this LED light performs much better than 3-4 feet: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/542007-REG/Litepanels_LPMICRO_LPMICRO_Micro_LED_on.html Gary Nattrass April 9th, 2008, 07:25 AM It will light beyond 3/4 feet but it depends on the ambient lighting, put it this way if its that dark it will help and for $12 its a bargain. At that price why not have both! Its too cheap to pass up! Thanks for the advise!!! I just ordered one for the heck of it. Once I get it I will give an update with the HD1000. John Luna June 3rd, 2008, 06:48 AM I just ordered one for the heck of it. Once I get it I will give an update with the HD1000. Well Duane, Did you get the light? How is it? John David Chia June 3rd, 2008, 10:01 AM I found this 2 years ago, but I have to warn you that it is too blue. You need a CTO to correct the color. But you can go wrong with the price. The miclight is however is corrected LED to 5600k but you pay the extra $ for it. Dave Blackhurst June 4th, 2008, 04:25 PM Change your WB preset... that can make the cheap-o light look pretty good, as it's very "blue", but not that far off the typical "outdoor" WB preset from my experience. |
