Hi,
I have Vegas Pro 8 & DVD Architect. I would like to make a split screen with one half being rolling text and the other showing a video clip. The following is an example of what I want to do;
On the left side of the screen I would like to show a persons name rolling from the top to the bottom slowly and at the same time a short video clip on the right side of that person. Once the text is rolled off the screen I would like to repeat the same process with a different name and video clip of that person.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks, Ray

Use Pan/Crop to size and place the video where you want it. I always use the "safe zone' grid to insure I'm still in play with the video. For the credits, do your credit roll as you normally would then use the Pan/Crop to size and place it on the opposite side. Again I use the 'safe zones' grid to insure proper placement.

Is this (http://www.bidly.co.uk/titles.wmv) the type of thing you mean? I've used some (poor quality) still images instead of video but the the technique is the same. I didn't use pan/crop for the titles - just used the placement property on a transparent background and keyframed the movement

I've attached a .veg for you - when you run it you'll get a message that the media I used can't be found - just replace it with one of your own.
