Hi,
Is anyone on this forum from the Dumbarton, Scotland area ? I'm trying to get hold of some archival footage or at least some stills featuring ship building at the Denny Bros. Shipyard in the 1880's.
I have had no success so far by contacting museums etc.
Would appreciate if anyone could help me make contact with the right organisation/individual who deals with archival footage.

I'm not from Dumbarton, but near enough...

I did a search on the Scottish Screen Archive for you, and found a few possibilities. I hope the url isn't too long to post - it worked OK when I previewed this post.
