In Pinnacle Titanium version for credits...I seem to get some blurring around the letters.

What font are you using in Pinnacle to produce the best results?

Would it be best to purchase the Adorage plug-in to use for credits for tv?

Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Cameron,

My Pinnacle version has been working great. It's just the fonts sometimes seem to have some blurring.

well, render it out and see if it still has that problem, or use a normal font like arial

many times the text may look blurry in preview but renders fine. A lot has to do with the font chosen. The fine script like fonts GENERALLY will pose a bigger problem than a blocker type font such as Arial. If you've not had a problem before with fonts braking up or looking blurry then it would lead me to think it was the font itself and you might want to consider using something different.

Lisa,

Bear in mind that in the editing process you are looking at a very low resolution image in the edit window.

As a trial to see how your project is turning out, render it to a full screen AVI file (or part of it anyway) and then watch that with something like Windows Media Player.

It won't look quite that good on standard def DVD but the AVI should ease you mind on sharpness issues.

And on titles and menus it is also a good idea not to go too small on the font size. I also use Pinnacle Studio 11.1.2 and some of what I've done with it can be seen at www.fortvir.net/gallery2/P3U_videos/Bif

The fonts on the titles might look a tad unsharp but that is because the file size has been kept small so these files won't take half a day to download. They look much better on the DVD collection.
