In the first half of the easter holiday I went to visit my friends up in the mountains. We had 5 days of sun and we’ve never been able to get as many great shots in so few days before. We shot with 2 EX1’s. I had my Letus35 on and the other camera shot without. Lenses used with the Letus were Canon 200mm F2.8L, Canon 100mm F2.8, Canon 50mm F1.4 and Canon 17-35 F2.8L. Very quickly graded and color corrected.

My colleague in skifilm.com had a white balance accident.. Didn't spend hours fixing it :)

Great stuff! It must have been a challenge to handle peak levels.

Now the key questions:
Graded in Magic Bullet or Color (if using Mac)?
Noticed soft black borders on some shots (not vignette but left/right border). I assume that was deliberate?
What PP setting(s)?

Nice work.

Wondering what frame rate / overcrank / shutter speed combos you were using.

Best,

Randy

wow! You've shot some beautiful stuff. I watched that, loved it and watched the rest of your work. If you go to Studiodaily and look at the footage that was shot by a fairly big-name DP on some cycling project, your stuff blows it away! Nice work, its great to see you flexing the EX1's muscles with such precision.

Thanks a lot Jeremy!

Really means a lot! :)

With the EX1 I just love to go out with the camera and just make shorts. Especially the clean nature stuff. All alone with my camera.

When the footage turn out this great with the amazing camera it's a lot more fun! With the Z1 and V1 I had earlier it wasn't the same..

Bless!

Beautiful footage. I am jealous. Some of the scenery actually reminds of here in Colorado. Small world I suppose.
