Sharing with you a fast paced SDE we did last March 4.

We shoot the groom early in the morning of the wedding day. The whole fishing thing (he's so much into it), was the groom's idea and he wanted to tie everything in with that.

He even picked the song Frou Frou - Breathe.

Extraordinary! Not a frame out of place. I hope you are making tons of money, because if this is the type of product you deliver consistently then you're absolutely worth it.

Cameras, software etc. aside, you really exhibit artistry. I'd bet that even with iMovie and a cheapo camcorder from Wal*Mart you'd put most of us to shame! Great job!

I was bummed that the formals happened after dark. It would have been awesome if the couple fishing together was shot by sunset. Oh well, wishful thinking.

I've been trying to sell a similar style here in Australia but people just don't get it, yet they'll pay double the price for art photography. Most just want the typical boring archival documentary video with the only ones that like my style being the the arty types that can't afford me. It's so hard to sell creative wedding video in a country that is so obsessed with football, cricket & everything to do with sport.

I think I got a good 2.5 hours straight after the cermony which started at 3pm.

James. Don't give up just yet. Perhaps mix or dilute (i know that's a bad word among artists) the cutting edge with stuff that's more palatable.

Market in the right channels. I sincerely believe that there is a niche in your country is no less sophisticated than what we have in the Philippines (third world, whipping boy, 75% under the poverty line).

The Lomo stuff is doing great. Those little buggers cost a bundle when added up.
