And, of course, they change things just enough to force purchasing yet more equipment. Some of the lenses are literally like 1/16th of an inch off.....ridiculous. I'll even settle for a screw on that works. Chad Dyle March 29th, 2008, 08:43 AM As of this moment, you can buy any WA Lens that has a 72mm mount and it will work with the Z7U. Oh, you will also need some duck tape to make sure it doesn't fall off! I can understand the whole new camera, new accessories concept, just make sure its all ready for us when the camera comes out :( Ryan Avery March 31st, 2008, 09:37 AM Need the WA guys - any solutions from Schneider yet? I'll even settle for a screw on that works. Sony has yet again challenged us all. We are working hard on a solution but, as usual, it will require all new glass and mechanical design. I do not anticipate our usual line up of lenses for some time. HOWEVER :) We do have this solution which will give you 30% wider performance and thread into the 72mm filter threads. You need the below linked item plus the adapter ring which is listed below but not on our website: .7x wide angle adapter: http://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?CID=1085&IID=1364 72mm Adapter Ring: 0FA-7x72-00 = $160.00 Ryan Avery Schneider Optics |
