Hey folks,

I'm starting to do some test color grading in Color. When I add my shot to render queue and try to render the color graded clip, Color is trying to render the whole media file that clip belongs to, which is about 1 hr long. Shouldn't the Color only be rendering that specific clip? What am I doing wrong?

Btw, I'm bringing the clip to Color from FCP using 'send to Color' Command.

Got it.

The clips had a speed change done to them in FCP. Color craps out when speed changed clips brought into it. I guess I need to render the clips as self-contained quicktime movie files before sending them to Color.

I had the same problem...just a comment. Seems odd that Color can't just render from in point to out regardless of speed change. I was pulling my hair out trying figure this out...and found this post!
