I have a TRV-38 with the Analog to digital pass through. Right now, I have it set for Video to DV OUT on the TRV-38 and the firewire connected to the computer. I can see the video on my TRV-38 and if I hook up the capture using VV6, when the capture program starts, I can see the images from the camera on my screen, but as soon as I hit RECORD, the screen on the computer goes to blue and does not capture anything. Not sure what to do here because the TRV-38 has the feature enabled...is it something that I need to do in Vegas?

Be sure that "enable DV device control" is unchecked in the capture preferences - this may fix you up.
