Hi David,
Is the Cineform Intermediate format supported in Assimilate Scratch? Its in all the Iridas product range right?
Many many thanks for all your postings.

Scratch talked about this with us some time ago, but it is on their plate more than ours. If Scratch supports the QuickTime API, we already support deep pixels (16-bit per color channel) so it should work natively -- no work required. We also support DirectShow up to 16-bits per channel, although they would need to ask us how (it is pretty easy). OR they can use our SDK, just like Iridas did, more work but the most control. As they haven't discussed the last two with us, best hope is they support any compressed MOV files.

Hi Mike,
We done some testing with large MXF files (i.e. an 11GB MXF constructed from three 3.5 GB MP4 files from the EX1) and have had success.
I've just fixed a problem with some rogue MXF files that have different header structures that caused erroneous reading of said files. It was not in b159, but will be in the next one. In the meantime, I can send you the component to test if you'd like. Please email me at tbucklin@cineform.com if you'd like to try it out.
