I downloaded for my growing archive (and to have the info that would apply to the HC1), I like to have this sort of thing on hand, and I certainly appreciate you passing it along! Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, and wondered whether anyone could give me access to the HVR-A1 service manual? My reason for needing this is to assess the feasability of removing the lens and replacing it with a Nikon mount. I have done this before (JVC Super-VHS in 1990, Panasonic Super-VHS in 1994 and Panasonic DV in 1998) and at present I am using a 600mm Nikkor lens on my modified Panasonic NV-DS5 to capture close-ups of birds. I have the service manual for the Sony FX1 and know that has already been modified (Matteo in Italy), but the compactness of the HVR-A1 makes it more suitable for my particular needs. Any help will be much appreciated.

Crhis, many thanks. I need to modify the XLR assay to connect it to my Sony HDR-SR10 so I can use my sennheiser ME64 on this camera.
