Here is a link to a short clip of a woodmouse filmed at the bottom of a hedge feeding below one of our bird feeders.

Sorry about the low res. Recorded with H1 and 70-200L canon eos lens.

Cheeky fellows aren’t Mick, early morning we see one under our bird feeds but the birds tend to frighten it away, they move with lighting speed.
Last week I was out in a hide waiting for a badger sett to come alive, a wood mouse came back and forth picking up the sandwich crumbs I had dropped,

It kept me occupied during the long wait, unfortunately there was to much people activity waking along a track that runs run close by the sett.
I was hoping to try a new microwave motion detectors and slow dimmer light we have made so we can video in colour, rather than that IR green look.

Nice footage Mick.

Good movement and variation, and a nice location....nice :-) ! I found the Buff tip shot a bit random in there...but still nice to see!

Nice one Mick. I think the sequence would be improved if you'd set the scene first. The woodpeckers one the feeder jarred a bit with the mouse in an apparently natural setting. But if you'd started with a general shot including the feeder, then perhaps ended with the mouse on the feeder, it might flow better?

Reminds me I have some rats and woodpeckers on and under feeders on video somewhere - must find time to do something with it!

I like your woody mouse. Sheen on her coat means she's healthy.

Thanks for posting the clip.

cute little thing, as long as they are out in the wild !!

I enjoyed you clip, would love to see others as they emerge.
