Just thought I'd pass this on for any who haven't been on Vimeo yet. Paul Joy has created a channel for footage from the Sony EX1 that's defiantly worth checking out.

And if you have any desire to join and upload stuff here's a link to some render settings I've been using in Sony Vegas that seem to work really well. I'm sure you can use them as a general guide for rendering:

Since at one time or another I've tried most of the vid sharing sites out there I'm just in love with Vimeo. As I said somewhere in their forum, it's nice to have a video sharing site that isn't painful for me to watch or even more, just downright embarrassing to have other people look at. If ya do join up, make sure ya add me!!!

I too am looking at a viable delivery format for EX1 footage.
I like the way Vimeo is showing / encoding material from this camera.

But a question.

Is it just me or are others experiencing a stuttering effect when the video plays?

It appears to be happening across all EX1 videos on vimeo.

Maybe it is just me.

But even if I let the whole video load before viewing it, it still stutters on certain frames.

Anybody else experiencing the same?

Thanks
Simon

OK then maybe it's just my connection.

Aside from that I really like the quality of vimeo.

What format are you loading your EX1 edits up to Vimeo in?
Eg H264?

Then letting vimeo encode them in Flash?

I will be getting my EX1 in March and will be editing on a MacPro 8 Quad in Final Cut Pro.
