I think I have a simple question but reading through the various Beachtek options and those from other manufacturers I've become confused...
I simply want to plug in a mini-pin source (VideoMic) into the left channel and at the same time an XLR source (wireless signal) into the right--and have independent level controls over each.
Less commonly I'll want to plug into two XLRs and have separate level controls.
It would be nice, but not required, if I could plus in two mini-pins with separate level controls.
Maybe the right solution is to buy a couple of mini-pin to XLR adapters and a very basic Beachtek?
The application here is meeting videos--they have a feed from the tables but no mics in the audience. I want to preserve my options. Also, I am shooting alone and will not have a sound person so I won't be able to focus all my attention on watching the levels, etc, if that is a factor.
I'll be shooting on a variety of consumer grade camera (e.g. Sony HC-7), and prosumer cameras (FX-1, etc).
Thanks!
