I've shot a project in DV (Pal) and edited it using Premiere Pro 1.5. I am going to need to convert it into various formats when it's finished, including ntsc. The question I have is this; if I were to get Prospect and convert all my footage to 10 bit, would I get better final output quality after color correction, efx etc? In other words, does Prospect improve standard def DV?
I had been using DV Storm which did put the footage into 10 bit and I noticed it was of a better quality. But, there were so many other issues that I yanked the card and reconverted all my footage.
