Any great ideas on what to do when your new computer is delivered to an unknown person (not listed in phone book in small town) at some address which is obviously not yours?

worst case scenario, you can file a chargeback on the credit card you used to pay for the item. you will eventually get your money back. do you know where it was delivered? can you get it from them? if your name is on it, they do not have the legal right to keep it

The delivering company should have a record of its disposition

Resolution has been achieved. I called Fedex, and they provided me the address of where it had been delivered. I went there and picked it up this afternoon. There were actually two Mac Pro boxes there, one that was suppose to be delivered there, and mine. I think the delivery guy assumed they went together and only looked at one of the shipping labels. What a dumb-dumb.
