I wanted to share this little clip awhile back but totally forgot to do so. Now in my state of fatigue and insomnia it just re-occured to me so here it is:

Just a bit of clarification for those unfamiliar with the east-asian wedding routine; before the groom is allowed to first see his bride, the bridesmaids pretty much have their way with the groom and his groomsmen. Most of the time it is great many many laughs.

After being totally conquered by the bridesmaids, the groom meets his wife to be; they have a quick tea ceremony; and the rest of the day is pretty much standard fare.

Comments, questions, insights but most importantly; helpful constructive criticisms are very very welcome. This was the first wedding I lead via having a second shooter with me; so I was able to push it a little.

Hi Michael! We really loved this clip! We watched this a couple of times already waaaayyyy before you posted it here. And this inspired us to use the song in one of our weddings! Great work!

Very good job on the clip. I must say you'll definitely fit in easily with Still Motion if you haven't yet already. I could only see 2 things in the clip that bothered me a little. 1 Your opening text and closing text was very different for a wedding that most videographers would use. Later in the clip I see why you used it, cause it was the same shot on that tube during the ring shot rolling next to it. So that was a artistic decision which works as long as one sees the text on the tube later. The other thing was you color dominance choice on a few shots going from green to orange to red to b&w to sepia (not int that order). I didn't get it, not sure why you did it. Besides those 2 minor things you really add to the purpose of Still Motion. Would love to see more your work as time goes on. Take Care and thanks for sharing oh yeah and great fun bridal party. Hi Monday, thanks for taking the time to comment, & for the warm words and constructive criticism. I completely agree with you regarding the unconventional font selection, but as you noticed (good eye!) there is heavy significance to the couple; which is why I chose to use it. The couple noticed right away and were elated upon noticing opening font. Re: colour correction, I tried giving every little segment/scene it's own hue; while experimenting with different sepia & black and white tones here and there. Hopefully it wasn't too distracting but it was fun playing around with colour correction.

I will definately try to contribute more to the forum!
