Are there any prosumer HD cameras that actually record 24 progrsseive to a 24 frames per second timeline?

The pulldown is a RPITA. And further complicates timecode and synching with externally recorded audio.

I'm really sick of being foreced deal with what is really a broadcast format in an editing environment.

I know there are ways to remove the pulldown. I know there ways to speed up or slow down the sound. I know... I know... I know... I know the pulldown is royal pain in the you know what.

Is there a way to dodge this bullet from the get go?

I thought the XH-A1 used a pulldown as well, just with flags to make it easier to remove. Perhpas I've been living in HV-20 land too long, LOL.
