Hi guys. Im new to cineform. I use Vegas to render my projects into cineform. Since I couldn't play them back. I downloaded the free neo player from the website. But playback is stretched from a 16:9 perspective to a 4:3 perspective. To fix this - I downloaded the trial version of Neo HD, rerendered the fil but playback is still at 4:3 perspective.

The properties on the file is still 1440 x 1080. Yet it doesn't look it when playing back.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

If you are running Vista, the issue is in Windows Media Player. Use Media Player Classic.

No im not using vista. Just windows xp pro.

Then you have an install issue. Try the CineForm->Tools->Register Components, is that doesn't work, uninstall CineForm, reboot and then reinstall.
