Right now, I'm viewing my shots on a Sharp Aquos 42" 1080p using RGB component cable out of my EX-1 camera. If I purchase an SDI to HDMI cable, will I see a difference in image quality on screen?

Also, the little battery that comes with the Sony is junk. The screen displays much more time than the thing will deliver... be forewarned. What after-market battery would you all suggest?

At this time I don't believe that there's a non-Sony battery for sale. There is a long life battery from Sony. That runs about $230. It's been in short supply so I'm not sure where you'd find one at the moment. But it's out there!
