Hello,
I recently purchased this system and had a couple questions. I got the combo with the lav/plug-in.
1. I have a typical Shure SM-58 handheld mic used on the butt plug. I noticed the level is very low. So I decided to plug my shotgun mic into it, and the levels are great. But obviously I can't use the shotgun mic for my "Reporter" type shoots. So, is there a particular handheld mic I should be looking at - maybe one that requires a battery? Will this get me a higher level? Budget is around $250.
2. I have hooked the 320 to my Beachtek on my FX-1, and it works great. Lav in one channel, Plug-In in other. Howver, I would like to utilize a total of three mics, without using another mixer. In other words combine my 320 Azden mics into one channel, which frees up the other channel for another input source. Azden didn't supply any cables to test this type of setup, so can it be done? I don't want to overload the one channel and do any damage. If okay, what kind of cable do I need to go from the 320 to the Beachtek?
