Does the Canon XH A1 read HDV footage recorded with a Sony Z1?

I am asking this because there were some compatibiity issues in the early versions of HDV, tho' I guess that should be put to rest.

Haven't tried the Z1, but my A1 can read tapes from Sony's V1U no problem. Even the progressive modes, since they're put into a 60i stream.
