Quick Background: Started in film (the stuff with emulsion), then analog video, and then SD video. Developing a feature in HD, to be shot on the Panasonic HVX200 P2, at 720p/24pn (8 bit audio) and cut in Apple's FCP.

Question: I am having trouble determining file size (and time) for HD. All the charts I find on the web say HD at 720/24p (23.976) requires 155 Gig per hour. Then, I hear a standard that the 60 Gig P2 Store holds two-and-one-half hours of footage ... a 4 Gig P2 card 10+ minutes (leaving space on both for formatting). I am looking to ad one or more RAID drives to my Dual G5, but I need to know how much space I need for a max of 20 hours of original footage.

1. Time/size information?
2. RAID drive recommendations?
