Hi All,

I need everyones people with this issue please!!

I am trying to make a ID Logo for my friend's TV Station and I have come across an issue.

1. In Vegas I have put the FLAG on the top event line.
2. I have put the Globe in the lower event line.
then I applied the Media Generator FX to the flag and selected Luminated
But what I realized is that the flag lost all its colors and gone black & white.

Please tell me as how I can have the flag in color as well.

I am using Vegas 7d.

Thanks
Matthew

Is that a custom one as it's not a standard FX?
The only place I see something similar is a transition called "Luminance".
Is that what you used?

The Mask Generator generates a mask from the event you apply it to. Masks are black and white and shades of gray. If you want to also include part of the flag then duplicate the tack so that the flag is on two tracks. Apply the Mask Generator to the top track. Change the Compositing Mode on the top track to Multiply (Mask). This will allow the unmasked part of the flag to show through from the second track. If you want a third lower track to also show through, then make the second track a Child Composite of the first.
