No one has shouted out praise for the EX1's white balance preset option that gives easy manual WYSIWY adjustment. I am. White balance can be quickly set by eye with no need for white card and I have seen no one even mentioned this - did anyone notice?

In any Picture Profile keep the White Balance switch on "Preset." Go to the menu and adjust the present value and you see the result instantly in the LCD screen. It's so easy to select the right setting or to add just the right amount of warmth or cold without the need for warm cards etc. I find this feature fantastic and just how white balance should be.

you don't read this thread assiduously enough . Many have praised the color controls on the EX.

Your're 100% right, It is the cameras strongest feature besides just the image quality in general.
