Why is it that when a tape is ejected with the XL-1, the audio is temporarily muted. This means that if you are recording in your camera AND to an external deck or other camera through RCA outputs or firewire as a back up or stagger recording, the external recording will get a momentary loss of audio during camera tape ejection.
Now that I think about it, I can't remember if it does this as a tape is loaded as well. I guess this second scenerio would happen if you were about to run out of tape on the external device and could only catch the end by loading another tape into the camera. If it cuts out on loading as well, which I think it does, then you get screwed twice. Once for ejecting and loading and then again when it loads into the transport.
