Just a quick question. If i was to buy the jvc hd110 as opposed to the hd111 which offers dv-in, would i be able to instead use my sony 1080i vtr deck to paste the footage from my 720p timeline back onto tape if need be? Thanks

The 1080i decks don't do 720p, and vice-versa. :p
You could transcode your footage to 1080i to go to your sony deck - but I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Lossy.

Hello Dan
i use to have a SONY FX1 and a HVR M10u deck
Then i bought my JVC Hd110u i could use the HVR DECK as long as i was shooting in DV
as far HDV it won't work
i end up selling the deck for $1100.00. i paid $3200.00
i wanted to get a JVC BR 50 DECK but instead i just go a DR HD100
and went Tapeless
sorry Dan
Now I'll SHUTUP HA Ha
