It looks like Sony isn’t planning on releasing a camera that’s just as good as the Nikon D3 but a camera that can actually be much better than the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III. Nikon did say that there are other full frame cameras that they are planning on releasing so they might use a version of this chip.

I’m surprised this news isn’t talked about in this site yet but Panasonic has new cameras that are capable of shooting 720p including the DMC-TZ5K:
