View Full Version : Can the LetusXL be fit to the HD100? Steven Houser January 30th, 2008, 08:34 AM I know this question needs to be directed ti Quyen Le,thought someone else might know if it is possible to make it fit my HD100? THX Pro's helpn Joe's Bob Hart January 30th, 2008, 09:37 AM It is strongly likely to be the same relay lens (Minolta) but only Quyen or Hien Le can tell you if it is possible for a XL modded lens to be refitted with the Letus JVC mount. It looks like a pretty permanent attachment to me and not one I would like to mess with unless I knew how it was put on, ie., permanent adhesive, heated and shrunk on, screwed on or a mix of all methods for permanent fitment. It may be that some essential part of the lens body was modified specifically for XL and might be missing some casework needed for the JVC mod. It is likely that the new wider view relay which is being built for the Extreme might be usable with some minor adaptations. Again Quyen or Hien Le would be the best advisers. I imagine backlogged orders for the XL and HVC HD--- direct relay Extreme models would need to be filled before any relay lens production is diverted to retrofit kits for older models. |
