Since I hardly use the tele on my Canon 20x lens, I was thinking of selling it, or trade it for a Canon 3x lens... unless someone can talk me out of it. Seeing on B&H that the 3x cost $330 less than a 20x, I wonder what could be a fair trade?

Could you have purchased it initially with the 3X or perhaps body only? I ask this, because I am interested in buying an XL2, and would rather have the 3X instead of the 20X. But I haven't found anyone that will sell it (new) at or near the price fo the stock camera/lens setup.
