Hi all!

I have a project that is 1280x720, 25p. Shot on EX1 and the project files are in mfx format. I want to make a widescreen pal DVD out of this.

What render template should I use? Pal DVD widescreen template forces the project into 720x576. It leaves black bars on left and right side of the image. Is this avoidable by other then cropping the image?

Im quite confused on how to do this? Im using Vegas Pro 8b and will use DVD architect 4.5b to make the DVD.

Thank you!

Found out and a new question arose:

I don't understand the new question, but you'll end up losing a few pixels going from 720p to 576p.
Simply put the 720p content on a 720p timeline, edit, render to the PAL widescreen 25p template.
In the render template, check the "Fit to Screen" box, and it'll all be good.

I decided not to use the "fit to screen" since it stretches the image. It's best to leave the small black bars on either side as in the end they wont show up on a widescreen tv because there is some cropping happening.
